THE REPORT OF THE ETUA WORLDWIDE FORUM’S COMMITTEE ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF EZEBAJA SECONDARY SCHOOLS

THE REPORT OF THE ETUA WORLDWIDE FORUM’S COMMITTEE ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF EZEBAJA SECONDARY SCHOOLS.

The above named committee setup for the aforementioned purpose has made wide consultations and far-reaching research to find out Ezebaja Secondary School ‘s most pressing needs for the immediate onward transmission of development projects.

We reached out to the Delta State Universal Basic Education first, to find out how far the government intends to go with its ongoing projects in the school, so that we can strategically position our own intervention. We, by this very means, have announced our presence to the state.

We were rightly informed that though the contract was awarded to a contractor outside Etua descent, the job includes the building of the chemistry and physics laboratory, principal’s quarters and the fencing of the entire Ezebaja land mass for the time being. The construction of the school`s physics and chemistry laboratory is ongoing at the moment and work is on high tempo.

Having done that, we equally reached out to the principal of Ezebaja Secondary school with similar enquiries and she was excited about our purpose driven intentions to develop Ezebaja. She sent us a list of what the school needs at the moment and thanked us for the donation the group made towards their inter house sport event. And appreciate our effort for the plans to develop Etua.

The projects required in the school is listed hereunder :
1. Construction of administrative offices
2. Toilet in the school
3. Metal shelf to secure student’s certificates
4. Modern library
5. I. C. T. Center
6. School band
7. Public address system
8. Stand box fully labelled
9. Trophies
10. Completion of school examination hall.

With the afore-listed, the committee believes that we can use the above to plan effectively and devise immediate action protocols for our projects for Ezebaja Secondary School.

We wish to state here that we have not forgotten the primary school at Utagba Uno which was reported in our first general meeting to have just two teachers and a rundown environment. We shall extend our duties to the school in due course and stretch forth our intervention thereto.

We hereby urge all members of the EWF and particularly the members of this committee to keep up the flame and not be weary as your sacrifices will never go unrewarded.

Thanks.
